The Frontenac City Council will meet on September 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall located at 200 E. McKay St. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the city’s intent to exceed the revenue neutral rate for budget year 2022. Taxpayers may speak in support or objection to the proposal.

The Revenue neutral rate is defined as the tax rate that would generate the same property tax revenue as levied the previous tax year using the current year’s total assessed valuation. The Revenue neutral rate for Frontenac is 48.437 mils.

Following the hearing, a public hearing will be held regarding the 2022 proposed budget. Taxpayers may speak in support or objection to the proposed budget.
